Stampin' Up! Dallas Regional - Presentations

Here are some of the projects that were presented by talented people during the Dallas Regional:

This was Shelli's quick masculine card using the Sale-a-bration set, Madison Avenue.

Here's a card I did inspired by hers.
Loved these ideas using the dress form from the All Dressed Up framelits.

Also loved this Easter basket using the Ovals Collection Framelits and this card box using the Happy Hello Simply Sent Card Kit.

I plan to make some of these Happy Hello boxed card sets.  I just got a second package of this Sale-a-bration kit...so I'm ready to make plenty of quick & easy cards and boxes.

More photos of swaps and our after party project coming soon!

Stampin' Up! Dallas Regional - Fun with Friends!

We had a great time at the Dallas Regional event.  We took up 2 whole tables plus 2 seats from another table!

Me and Sherry.

Me and Kim

Most of the group at my table.

Here are the Make'n'Takes we did:

I changed this notebook a bit.  It was suppose to have 3 little flags under the flower and instead I left those off and added the Pool Party cardstock strip embossed with the Needlepoint Border embossing folder.  This folder comes with another border too (a cross stitch border).

I didn't care for this design, so I changed this one too.  Here's my version:

These are super cute and I made multiples while I was at Craftaway Studios last weekend to give to my hostesses at parties next month.

I have more photos of presentations, swaps, and our after party to post tomorrow.

Chalkboard Card - SWAP for Dallas Regional

I have gotten a lot of mileage from this card I designed in January.  I used it for my card class at work, my team's Stamp'n'Share night, 2 home parties, and now my SWAP on Saturday for Stampin' Up!'s Dallas Regional.  It's become one of my favorite designs.

Stamp Set:
  • From My Heart
Colors:
  • Baja Breeze
  • Not Quite Navy
  • Basic Black
  • Whisper White
Extras:
  • VersaMark pad
  • Whisper White embossing powder & Heat Tool
  • White Watercolor Pencil
  • Flower Trim
  • Paper Doily
  • Honeycomb Embossing Folder & Big Shot
  • Sponge Dauber & Stampin' Sponge
  • Stampin' Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and & drops of Baja Breeze Reinker
I love this Flower Trim.  It comes in vanilla, but you can dye it to match your project.  I spritzed it with Baja Breeze, let dry, then used a sponge dauber to add some Not Quite Navy to the tops of the petals.

Stamp Scrap Art Tour 2013 - Mesquite, TX

I had so much fun at the StampScrapArt Tour at the Mesquite Convention Center the last weekend of January, and will definitely do this show again next year.  It was great to talk to so many ladies that share my passion.

Saturday was busy, busy, busy!!!  Thank goodness for helpers!  Sunday was a little more quiet making it easier to answer questions in more detail.  This photo was taken right before we took down the booth.

Thank you to everyone that stopped by my booth.  I raised $300 for the Little Elm Library during the two days...thank you everyone that purchased these retired sets from the library collection.  These were donated to the library and I am helping them turn them into cash.  I still have about 137 sets left and will have them at my next show in April.

Stampin' Up! Leadership 2013 - Projects

There were some awesome projects presented at Leadership.  I loved Shelli Gardner's banner.

Check out this cute idea for the Spring Catalog More Amore fabric.

Shelli's daughter, Sara Douglass, presented kits including the Pop-Up Posies Designer Kit, the Artisan Embellishments Kit, and the Sweet Threads Simply Sent kit.  Here's a photo of the display board showing some of her projects created with kits in our Spring Catalog.

Stampin' Up! gave us the the designer paper and Just Thinking stamp set from the Parker's Patterns suite of products.  Here's a project from the display board using these.
