Gift Card Holder Using Envelope Punch Board

We made these cool gift card holders at our recent crafting retreat.  My friend, Dee, saw a store bought version and figured out the dimensions to make it with the envelope punch board.  I used this for my monthly technique in September.  Everyone loved it!  You can also decorate these for birthdays or any occasion.

Here are the instructions that I gave my club members to put in their technique book:

The Card Stock measurements and score instructions are for the card itself (the Garden Green pieces).  The Cover CS Mats refers to the Cherry Cobbler card stock, and the Cover Designer Paper refers to the Early Espresso Christmas tree patterned paper.

Here is a close up photo to illustrate the "attach above the spine" instruction.  The spine should be free to open and close.

And here are the tools I used:

Have fun making these!

Festival of Trees Bundle

Here's my club card using the Festival of Trees Bundle.

Colors: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Pistachio Pudding, Silver

Tips:  Use a rolled up glue dot to attach the Linen Thread bow.  Also, you might want to curl the end of your flag before sticking it down.  I popped up the greeting and all the trees on dimensionals...you can never have too many dimensionals (well, maybe...lol).

For All Things Fall Card - Collage of Leaves

I made this one on our Labor Day Retreat inspired by a card my friend, Dee, made.  It's just lots of stamping and a few popped up items.

Colors:  Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow

The big leaf is cut out with scissors (Paper Snips), but I used the framelits on the other two.  I just stamped scrap Very Vanilla card stock with the water color paint strokes stamp in this set.  Then, I used two of the framelit leaves to cut them out with the Big Shot.
