I heard that here in Texas, we have a large Fall wedding season. So, I thought it was a good time to do a wedding card.
Stamp Set: Label Love
Colors: Silver, Whisper White, Basic Black
Specialty Paper: Silver Foil Paper, Silver Fancy Foil Designer Vellum
Punch: Artisan Label punch
Embossing Folder: Lovely Lace
Optional: Some of my ladies added rhinestones to their labels above and below the "Mr. & Mrs."
I also used the Tiny Wave cartridge in my paper trimmer to fancy up the Basic Black strip border between the foil paper and the vellum paper.
Tips: Just put adhesive (snail) on the embossed silver foil paper and let your vellum side be free of adhesive. The foil side is wide enough to hold it in place. Also, if you want more weight to the card, you can add another white layer inside for writing on. This will help the Whisper White card stock be more like the regular heavy card stock you're used to.

BE YOU {TIFUL} - Flower Patch Card
Here's another of the July projects. Stampin' Up! gave me the Flower Flair Framelits free on the cruise; so of course, I had to purchase the Flower Patch set when I got home!
I used the Color Coach to help me with a color combo (don't forget to get the In Color cards too if you have the Color Coach). I knew I was going to use Calypso Coral since I just bought this beautiful seam binding ribbon in that color.
Stamp Set:
Just a note - These Photopolymer sets work great for 2-step stamping. And, as a matter of fact, Stampin' Up! has told us that going forward, any sets that feature 2-step stamping will be produced in Photopolymer. Yay!

Kind Koala Meets Blendabilities
I'm finally posting my July projects. I started doing yoga during lunchtime at work a few months ago which is when I usually do my blog posting. It was fine at first, but lately, I'm really missing the extra lunch hours to work on my posts.
I used the Kind Koala stamp set to demonstrate Blendabilities to my Stamp Night Clubs. It's a simple stamp so it didn't take long to color in. I had to do some research on Koalas since I wasn't sure if they were gray or brown. They're gray and soooo cute! I totally got caught up in checking out cute koala photos. So, anyway, here's the card I designed.
Stamp Sets: Kind Koala, Corner Garden (background stamp)
Colors: Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Designer Series Paper: Park Lane
Check out this cool photo of all the Blendabilities I took at convention last month.
I'll be doing a class on Blendabilities too on Sunday, August 24th at 2pm. If you're local to North Dallas, you can RSVP here.
Tip: When using a focal stamp that is wood mount, cut your Whisper White to the same dimension as your wood block. That way you can line up the block with the edges of the paper. As long as you mounted your stamp nicely, you'll be centered.
