Blendabilities Update - No Longer Available

If you're on my newsletter list then you already know...by the way, if you click in the side bar when viewing my blog on a PC or laptop, you can see the latest Newsletter that I sent by clicking the Newsletter icon.

Anyway, here's the update.  Unfortunately, this line is no longer available.  There were recently discovered defects that our manufacturer was unable to quickly resolve to our high quality standards, so Stampin' Up! had to make the difficult decision to discontinue the line.  I'm hopeful that we will have a similar product some time in the future, but for now we have Aqua-Painters, Blender Pens, and our regular Markers to add great color to your line art stamps.  If you ordered any defective Blendabilities from me, please let me know.  Mine are all fine...I'm also thankful to have purchased all the available colors while they were offered.

Apparently, in the manufacturing process, when the tip was welded to the barrel, it could leave microscopic holes in the marker tip that caused accelerated evaporation of the alcohol in the ink.

Not all markers are defective, but too high of a percentage to continue carrying them with the current process.  So, test your markers.  We have until June 15th to request replacement items.

While it's not the best news, please understand that Stampin' Up! has our back!  They have very high quality standards to adhere to, and they always make it right!

Wishing You a "Stache" of Cheer

I love the nutcracker and Santa in the Santa Stache set.  So, they are the focus of my December 7th Christmas tags class.  I did this class last year and the girls loved it, so I thought I'd do it again.  Here's the project...it's 4 of each tag plus a decorated tin to hold them all.  And, we get to play with the Blendabilities!

You can't see it, but the large To & From stamp is also on the back of all these tags.  The girls laughed at me while I was stamping the To & From because every time I stamped it, I said how much I loved that stamp.  We've never had a large To & From like this, and I know I'm never putting that one on my sale table...I'm in love with it!  Maybe I should buy two just in case I lose it...lol
I still have a few spots left for this class if you live nearby.

Happy Stampin'

Kind Koala Meets Blendabilities

I'm finally posting my July projects.  I started doing yoga during lunchtime at work a few months ago which is when I usually do my blog posting.  It was fine at first, but lately, I'm really missing the extra lunch hours to work on my posts.

I used the Kind Koala stamp set to demonstrate Blendabilities to my Stamp Night Clubs.  It's a simple stamp so it didn't take long to color in.  I had to do some research on Koalas since I wasn't sure if they were gray or brown.  They're gray and soooo cute!  I totally got caught up in checking out cute koala photos.  So, anyway, here's the card I designed.

Stamp Sets:  Kind Koala, Corner Garden (background stamp)
Colors:  Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight, Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry
Designer Series Paper:  Park Lane

Check out this cool photo of all the Blendabilities I took at convention last month.

I'll be doing a class on Blendabilities too on Sunday, August 24th at 2pm.  If you're local to North Dallas, you can RSVP here.

Tip:  When using a focal stamp that is wood mount, cut your Whisper White to the same dimension as your wood block.  That way you can line up the block with the edges of the paper.  As long as you mounted your stamp nicely, you'll be centered.

Happy Blending,
