At Leadership we got this set free which was great because it was on my wishlist anyway...love that! I couldn't wait to play with this again, so in January, I designed a Stamp Night project using it and some of the other great new items in the Occasions catalog. Here's what I came up with:
Stamp Sets:
Colors:
- Pool Party
- Melon Mambo
- Daffodil Delight
- Old Olive
- Tangerine Tango
- Basic Black
- Gold
Tools / Extras:
- Gold Baker's Twine
- Watercolor Paper
- Gold Foil Sheets
- Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape
- Stazon Black ink
- Scallop Edge Border Punch
- Banner Punch
- Basic Jewel Pearl
- Aqua Painter
- Glue Dots / Dimensionals
Here's another way to use your washi tape. Just cover a strip of card stock with it. I put one end into the Banner punch to punch the "V" shape. Here's another tip: When using a wood mount stamp as a focal point, cut your card stock the same size as your wood block. Then if you've mounted your stamp straight and centered on your block, you can just line up the edges of your wood block with your paper edges when stamping to center your image on your paper. Otherwise, use your Stamp-a-ma-jig.
Happy Stampin'
